A deposit equivalent to the first night’s stay is required to confirm your booking which can be paid by credit or debit card over the telephone or by cheque. On receipt of your deposit, we will send you a confirmation. Please note that your booking is not confirmed until your deposit has been received and your cheque has cleared.
We accept all major debit and credit cards, cheques and cash. However, we would ask that, due to high processing costs, debit cards are used in preference to credit cards. If you wish to pay by cheque, we must insist that payment is made on arrival. Cheques should be made payable to ‘Lynton House Hotel’.
We wish to remind you that your booking with Lynton House is a legally binding contract and should you cancel your stay you will be liable to pay cancellation charges, as follows:
If Lynton House cancels your booking due to unforeseen circumstances, your deposit will refunded in full.
Rooms are usually ready by 1.00 pm but if you arrive earlier, and your room is not ready, you are welcome to leave your luggage with us.
On the day of departure, please vacate your room by 10.30 am and, again, you may leave your luggage until later in the day.
In compliance with legislation, it is illegal to smoke anywhere within the premises of Lynton House. Smoking is only allowed on the front patio.
Guests who do smoke in their rooms will be asked to leave and will be liable for the whole cost of their stay.
